Blog Post #7

I think things are made out to seem so much more empathized on social media. Pictures and status leave people with a false sense of how reality is.  Some people’s lives are made out to seem more perfect and glamorized than they actually are. I think Essena O'Neill overall message to delete her social media accounts is good, because even though to many her life may seem “perfect” she really isn’t happy. She thought that if she post pictures and has a lot of followers that she will be happy. But virtually you can be connected, but in reality you can feel so alone. But also in a sense, she’s on social media talking about deleting social media. That to me is like she’s looking for more attention.
